What process is involved in Digital Perm?

  1. Consultation

    The session begins with a consultation with your hairdresser.
    The condition of your hair will be assessed and the desired results will be discussed.

  2. Shampoo & Haircut

    We create the base design with a haircut before the perms.
    As your hair will be shorter after the perm, we will carefully check your target length and leave your hair slightly longer at this point.

  3. Application

    We offer 5 different perm lotions to suit your hair type, condition and desired style.
    Allow your hair to develop at room temperature for a few minutes, checking the elasticity of your hair regularly to avoid over-processing.

  4. Rinse and Hair Treatments

    Hair will be washed gently and carefully to avoid leaving any perm lotion on your hair.
    To avoid over-processing and further damage to your hair, we offer several types of hair treatment.

  5. Winding

    Wind hair onto the heated rods.
    We have several sizes of heated rods to create your desired design, as well as heat protection to prevent any unnecessary damage to your hair from the heating process.

  6. Heating

    Connect cables from a Japanese digital perm machine to heated rods.
    Secure heated rods with heat guards to prevent discomfort and heat for 10~30 minutes.

  7. Neutralising

    Apply the neutraliser to re-bond your hair and hold the curls in place, leave to develop for 5 minutes at room temperature.

  8. Rinse and Hair Treatments

  9. Styling
